Abbotsford, BC native Brian Doerksen is known throughout the world for popular worship songs including, “Come, Now is the Time to Worship”, “Hope of the Nations”, “Faithful One”, “Refiner’s Fire”, and “Hallelujah (Your Love is Amazing)”. Brian will be touring with his band this spring visiting 10 cities across Canada. The tour will be supporting his 2006 award-winning album, Holy God. The album, put out by Integrity’s Hosanna Music, features ancient and modern sounds reverent of God with duets with such artists as Christine Dente (Out of the Grey), Joseph Williams (Toto), and Debbie Fortnum.

In 2007, Doerksen received 6 nominations at the GMA Canada Covenant Awards and took home all 6 awards, which included “Artist of the Year”, “Male Vocalist of the Year”, “Song of the Year”, “Album of the Year”, “Praise and Worship Album of the Year”, and “Praise and Worship Song of the Year” for “Holy God”. This year Doerksen has wowed his fans again by getting nominated for Contemporary Christian/Gospel “Album of the Year” for the 2008 Juno Awards.
